Good afternoon!
Leon Souders checking in here to give y’all an update about where I am with training. It’s been some time since I checked in so here’s a quick synopsis! In June 2016 I was hired on by the 149th Fighter Wing at Kelly Field Annex in Texas. Since then I commissioned in March of 2017, entered Euro-Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) June 2017, graduated from the T-6 Texan II in December 2017, and I just solo’d in the T-38C last week! It’s been a long road and there’s a lot of training left, but every minute is a dream! Finger’s crossed I’ll earn my wings in June and I owe many thanks to wonderful people like y’all willing to take a chance and assist me on my journey!
