Thank you so much for awarding me the Alex Gilmer Scholarship! I used the scholarship for the beginning of my Instrument Training. I worked on my instrument scan, and compass turns, unusual altitudes, and 2 minute turns. I passed my first progress check last week! Now I am working on holds and crks.
Thank you again for the scholarship. It helped me take another step in my flight training. Each step taken is another step towards my dream of becoming a commercial pilot for United!
