Dear Mr. & Mrs. Gilmer,
I hope you both are well! I just received your wonderful newsletter and wanted to give you a quick update on my aviation journey.
I obtained my CFI certificate a couple of months ago and am waiting to get an instructing job in the Phoenix Valley. The CFI check ride was one of the hardest, yet rewarding check rides yet. It is because of you and the Alex Gilmer Flight Scholarship, I have been able to achieve my goals up to this point. I really appreciate all that you do for the aviation community.
I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New year! I will be sure to keep Alex in my thoughts and prayers this special holiday season.
